What is LDAP? LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is an application protocol for reading and editing directories over an IP network.

After trying some several products ldap, my choice finally fell to 389-ds. From my experience it’s easy to maintain and directory schema is so flexible. In this post i just show you about the introduction and how to install it. Continue reading


My beloved PHP Framework Codeigniter has changed from 1.* to 2.* version

Some changes in CI 2.0.2:

  • General changes
    • The Security library was moved to the core and is now loaded automatically. Please remove your loading calls.
    • The CI_SHA class is now deprecated. All supported versions of PHP provide a sha1() function.
    • constants.php will now be loaded from the environment folder if available.
    • Added language key error logging
    • Made Environment Support optional. Comment out or delete the constant to stop environment checks.
    • Added Environment Support for Hooks.
    • Added CI_ Prefix to the Cache driver. Continue reading

Less time to create or edit styles with less js

Actually this is a recommendation from my friend to save the time designing a website.

I read from the less js website and found an interesting word, it say “dynamic” stylesheet language. Wow it’s evolve from the old “static” style i used to. Let’s see it.
